The Chiefs held their Super Bowl parade Wednesday in Kansas City, taking a well-deserved victory lap after beating the Eagles in a 38-35 slugfest enjoyed by 113 million Americans, making it the second-most watched broadcast in television history. Not only did KC overcome a 10-point halftime deficit in hoisting its second Lombardi Trophy in four years, but the Chiefs successfully neutralized a potent Eagles defensive front that accounted for 70 regular-season sacks (third-most all-time), allowing MVP Patrick Mahomes to engineer the 16th fourth-quarter comeback of his Hall-of-Fame career.

Battling in the trenches against the likes of Hassan Reddick (16 sacks), Brandon Graham (11) and Javon Hargrave (11), the Chiefs pitched a shutout, snapping the Eagles’ streak of 13 consecutive games with at least one sack. In acknowledgement of that unlikely feat, the Chiefs’ offensive line, led by Pro Bowlers Orlando Brown, Joe Thuney and Creed Humphrey, twisted the knife one last time, needling their Super Bowl opponent by wearing custom t-shirts with the phrase “0 sacks.”

The Chiefs received enormous individual contributions from Nick Bolton, Kadarius Toney and, of course, Mahomes, but it was their dominance at the line of scrimmage that swung the game in Kansas City’s favor, making an historic pass-rush look ordinary by comparison. The t-shirt stunt only stands to escalate KC's ongoing feud with Philadelphia, which took a decidedly hostile turn earlier this week when JuJu Smith-Schuster trolled James Bradberry by alluding to his game-deciding holding penalty in a Valentine's Day tweet, a low blow Bradberry's teammates clearly didn't appreciate.

Other highlights from Wednesday’s festivities included Donna Kelce accompanying her son Travis along the parade route and Mahomes looking tipsy on the team bus, taking a page out of Tequila Tom’s book by drinking everything in sight.
