These NFL fan fights are “out of control” as soon as they occur, seeing as it’s never a good thing for one to occur. But when two superfans of the same team get into it, resulting in one falling the ground in a lifeless heap, then it’s really gotten out of control.
That was the case on Sunday night, when the large majority of Chiefs fans were likely restless after poor play and a long delay, all of which ended in a loss to the Buffalo Bills. In the process, a superfan known as “X-Factor” was seemingly knocked out by fellow superfan RedXtreme in… a bizarre occurrence, to say the least.
X-Factor was aided up the stairs by stadium security after the altercation.
On Monday morning, X-Factor tweeted about the fight, saying that it stemmed from a feud nearly two decades ago. Shortly after, the account @RedXtreme then responded to the post, confirming that it was him.
In Week 4, an Eagles fan fought with a Chiefs fan at Lincoln Financial Field, as captured by Audacy's own Jesse Pantuosco. In Week 3, another fight broke out, this one at Arrowhead. Needless to say, this is a trend that simply cannot continue, and it's utterly stupid for anyone to engage in such behavior.
