DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys receiver Amari Cooper underwent successful ankle surgery this week, he announced on social media Thursday afternoon.
According to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, Cooper underwent an ankle scope, which shouldn't have an impact on his participation in the team's offseason program.
ESPN's Ed Werder speculates that Cooper may have suffered the injury in the second half of the Cowboys Week 17 loss to the Giants.
The Cowboys have yet to comment on the procedure.
