PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Duquesne hasn’t played a men’s basketball game since December 2, the wait grows. The Billikens announced this morning their basketball program has paused all team activities due to positive COVID-19 results within the program.

That wipes out the Atlantic 10 opener for Duquesne at St. Louis Wednesday night.  Dukes had just returned to practice for the first time in two weeks on December 26.

It’s the fifth postponement or cancellation for Duquesne this year.

Dukes have 5 straight days of clean tests and are scheduled to play next at George Washington on January 2.

Pitt transfer Ryan Murphy is expected to play when the Duquesne season resumes.
