Eli Manning never misses a moment to get a joke in, especially if it comes at the New England Patriots’ expense.

The former New York Giants quarterback recently spoke at an event for the Sports Business Journals’ Lifetime Achievement Aweard, which was given to Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Of course, Manning got the best of Kraft’s Patriots in 2007 and again in the 2011 season and he made sure to take the time to remind Kraft of those moments.

“My mom Olivia sends her apologies,” Manning said, via ProFootballTalk. “She said if it weren’t for her, Robert Kraft would have at least 10 Super Bowls.”

Eli was not just talking about the times he beat the Patriots, but also his brother, Peyton, who topped New England in the AFC Championship Game in 2006, 2013 and 2015.

In fact, that would actually make it 11 Super Bowls the Mannings may have potentially taken away from Kraft and the Patriots.

Eli must have only counted the times Peyton actually won the Super Bowl — in 2006 and 2015. Or perhaps he assumed the 2013 Seahawks would have taken care of business against the Patriots.

After all, they did hand his brother a 43-8 loss.
