The Florida Panthers are coming off a solid 4-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings last night but unfortunately the Cats have been bitten badly by the injury bug. Aaron Ekblad went down for 12 weeks with a leg fracture and Anthony Duclair hit the boards hard last night and will miss a week to 10 days. Now the team is hopeful to get Barkov and Hornqvist in the coming days which would be a big boost. You can listen to the full interview above where Coach Quenneville gives an updated timetable for a potential return to the ice for both guys.
Next up for the Panthers they will host Detroit again tomorrow night. The game can be heard right here on WQAM with Doug Plagens and Bill Lindsay on the call.
