Panthers Insider Craig Minervini knows The Cats are trending in the right direction but why does the power play not always work for the team? Minervini says, "I think you get a little cute sometimes with these back passes."
He does feel The Panthers will add another player for depth down the stretch of the season mentioning, "You want another guy that can sure up another line."
Although the team is strong what is even more amazing to Minervini is how fans feel about the team, he says, "Most importantly, there is a buzz in the building that has not been there for a while."
He adds, "The players mention that the place is electric."
Finally, he pivots to baseball and the current lockout situation but says it is not just about the players and owners but rather, "People do not talk enough about the local people like bars that live for spring training."
Hockey will continue and baseball may resume one day.
