PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – A pair of Steelers defensive starters won’t play Sunday at Buffalo.

Corner Joe Haden, who hasn’t practiced this week after going in concussion protocol following a hit in the game on Monday, and linebacker Robert Spillane, who suffered a knee injury against Washington, are ruled out.

Kicker Chris Boswell was removed from the injury report and will play after missing the last game, same for starting corner Steven Nelson.

Each suffering an illness earlier in the week, receiver Chase Claypool was back to full practice Friday and defensive lineman Chris Wormley has had two straight days of practice.

Earlier Friday, the Steelers activated Maurkice Pouncey from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.  The 11 year veteran was a late scratch before the Ravens game and also missed the loss to Washington.
