Sports Agent David Canter is keeping an eye on The NFL’s Free Agency period and says, “I think it has been business as usual but you are seeing The NBA affect where players realize their value.”
Canter thinks Deshaun Watson will be traded to Atlanta but warns, “I assume he will be suspended for half a season, so the team better have a good backup quarterback seeing they will probably give up three 1st round picks.”
He also predicts, “I guarantee you after this debacle, you will rarely see no-trade clauses.”
When it comes to players and their foolishness online, does Canter warn his players about posting crazy things? He says, “I do not. I just do not represent dumb players, that is probably why they hire us.”
Baker Mayfield is possibly out in Cleveland, so would Canter take him as QB? He says, “I like Baker Mayfield but I would not want him as my starting quarterback.”
Finally, The Dolphins continue to make moves this free agent season and Canter likes what he sees claiming, “I think The Dolphins offseason has been very successful.”
