CBS Sports' Will Brinson feels although NFL players do not make what NBA players make, the gap is closing but it is different, he claims, "I feel like if I was the best receiver in football that I would want to be the highest paid receiver."
On closing the gap he adds, "More players are rejecting deals and becoming more impowered."
When it comes to a judgement on The Deshaun Watson sexual harassment case he feels the punishment could be imminent saying, "I would guess 10 days to 2 weeks."
When it comes to Watson, Brinson says, "From a PR perspective The NFL does not want Deshaun Watson to go unpunished."
In Carolina they have a quarterback controversy but Brinson says, "Can Sam Darnold unseed Baker Mayfield?"
Finally, why is Tua Tagovailoa such a talked about quarterback? Brinson states, "Because we spent so long tanking for Tua, he was drafted ahead of Justin Herbert and he is compared to Joe Burrow."
This year may or may not be a make or break year for Tua, we will find out starting September 11th when The Dolphins face The Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium.
