NBC 6's Ruthie Polinsky is at Dolphins Camp and has seen a lot of the starters but is not sure if they will play against The Raiders saying, "It still remains to be determined if we will see Tua and Waddle and Tyreek Saturday."
Coach Mike McDaniel like most can be wishy washy with the media, Polinsky mentions, "He is transparent with the media and when he is not he is still likeable."
When it comes to Tua playing this Saturday, Polinsky says, "I think he needs to play in total a whole quarter."
She feels Tua would benefit from preseason experience saying, "You have to see him go up against a defense that is not your own."
Tua does seem to be different to Polinsky this season, she states, "There is definitely a confidence on the field."
She does warn though, "His demeanor with the media feels a little forced."
After game 1 of the preseason, many fans are high on backup quarterback Skyler Thompson after having a solid game, Polinsky is hesitant though stating, "Great to see him play but I would not get too emotionally attached to him."
Dolphins vs. Raiders Saturday at 7 p.m. on 560 WQAM.
