It's literally out with the old and in with the new for the Miami Dolphins. Grumpy old man Vic Fangio came and got his money here in Miami and now he's gone after one uneven season. The Dolphins officially hired Baltimore's Anthony Weaver as their new DC to replace Fangio and hopefully make amends for what ended up being a rough hire at best.
Weaver, who was the assistant head coach and defensive line coach for a stout Ravens defense, should inject new life into a Dolphins defensive room that certainly needs it after they voiced their displeasure with Fangio. The radio voice of the Ravens, Gerry Sandusky, joined The Joe Rose Show on Monday morning and he told us why Dolphins fans are going to love their new DC.
