YES Network and Nets Insider Ryan Ruocco knows the competition in The Eastern Conference is stiff stating, "There is at least one or two teams that could make The Finals that are going to lose in the first round."
The Nets recently traded some players in order to be more competitive, Ruocco says, "I think they needed change cohesion-wise."
Brooklyn sent James Harden to Philadelphia and Ruocco is ok with that saying, "The Nets had needs that Harden could not fill."
One of the players The Nets got was Ben Simmons who has not played this season but Ruocco says the fan-base is happy with the move stating, "I get the impression that they are excited."
He goes even further on Simmons and Brooklyn saying, "On The Nets it is kind of a perfect fit."
As far as tonight's big Heat vs. Nets game not being on TV, Ruocco says, "They definitely did not think KD would play."
Kevin Durant is expected to play against The Heat tonight as the two face off in Brooklyn at 7:30 p.m. ET.
