NBA Insider Bobby Marks feels The Heat are right there saying, "You were a Jimmy Butler 3 from possibly going to an NBA Final."
So what does the team need to do to get to The Finals? Marks comments, "Make a couple tweeks here and there but you are not far away at all."
Some are upset about Jimmy Butler's late 3-point shot but Marks is ok with it saying, "Jimmy Butler has the right to do what he wants, he carried the team this series."
Although Miami is sort of handcuffed with the salary cap, Marks does not count them out saying, "This front office, you should never underestimate them."
Marks could see Duncan Robinson playing somewhere else next year, "I think there are teams that want to take two players and turn them into one because shooting is at a premium."
Tyler Herro could get a deal this offseason, Marks says, "I think he is in that 4-year for $80 or $90 million."
When it comes to Kyle Lowry, Marks proclaims, "He had a tough year but I do not see him as part of a trade."
Finally, when it comes to The Finals, Marks feels, "I pick Golden State in 5 but if they were playing Miami, I would pick Miami."
Miami enters the offseason regardless but will it be eventful? Time will tell.
