Boomer Esiason explains why Joe Flacco will start for The Jets against The Dolphins on Sunday saying, “They just want to win a game.”
He feels the offense has just turned over the ball to much in New York so that bodes well for Miami saying, “The Miami Defense is going to be the best overall unit on the field Sunday.”
Although there seems to be a revolving door at quarterback for The Jets, Esiason claims, “They want Zach Wilson to be that long term solution, not Mike White.”
Back to The Jets terrible defense, Esiason says, “If I were Tua Tagovailoa I would be licking my chops against their bad secondary.”
On The Dolphins quarterback, Esiason says, “I like the way Tua looks, plays and carries himself, what I do not like is that he cannot stay on the field.”
When asked if he was a better player in his second season, Esiason says, “I was a more relaxed player.”
Esiason is friends with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and knows he wants to win it all now claiming, “He has done everything a man can possibly do except win a Super Bowl.”
One thing that should help Miami making it to the top of the heap is time, Esiason states, “The older Tua gets, the better he should get.”
The rivalry renews Sunday at 1 in New York between The Dolphins and The Jets.
