Former NBA Player Raja Bell is pumping the breaks on The Heat wanting The Nets in the first round of the playoffs saying, “I heard you wanted The Brooklyn Nets, I am not sure you want that.”
The Heat are trending down and that scares Bell, he states, “I do believe in momentum.”
What do The Heat need during this losing streak? Bell proclaims, “This is when leaders really need to step up and control the locker room.”
Bell feels The Heat attitude is still upbeat claiming, “The messaging is ‘We are fine, we just hit a rough patch.’”
Bell still has reservations about Miami saying, “What concerns me about The Heat is they do not have a true number one.”
That is important to Bell because he says, “Playoff basketball is different, it puts your stars front and center.”
He continues, “If their star is cooking, I do worry if The Heat can overcome that.”
Miami looks to get back to their winning ways tonight at 7:30 p.m. against Sacramento.
