"This fall I'm going to take my talents to South Beach and join the Miami Heat."

These words will forever be remembered, not just in Miami, but across the sporting world. LeBron James’ ‘Decision’ didn’t only mean he was jumping on a plane for Miami, but the center of the NBA universe now shifted to Dade County.

On the 11 year anniversary, the Hochman and Crowder Show celebrated the Big 3 era, LeBron and what his decision meant to the city by speaking with a former reporter that covered the team, the radio voice of the Heat and with a quiz of the original Heatles roster.

First, Mike Wallace joined the show. If anyone could speak to the impact LeBron’s decision had, it is Mike. The day of the TV event, Wallace was covering the Heat for the Miami Herald. Less than 24 hours after LeBron James told Jim Gray he was headed to Miami, Wallace joined ESPN to report for the newly founded ‘Heat Index’. Listen to more from Wallace here:

Next, Hoch decided to take the shows biggest Heat fan to task. Solana, a life-long Miami Heat fan was in high school when LeBron James announced where he was headed in the summer of 2010. Hoch quizzes the self-proclaimed Heat expert on the 2010-2011 roster:

Finally, radio voice of the Miami Heat, Mike Inglis, joins Hoch and Crowder to discuss what it was like to follow LeBron, Wade and Bosh for 82 games the first year of the Big 3:
