ESPN Hockey Insider Greg Wyshynski know The Panthers are for real this season saying, “You have proof from last season that this is real.”
Wyshynski has noticed the goal keeping by Sergei Bobrovsky has been great for The Panthers this season and notes, “Spencer Knight is the goalie of the future and maybe some competition is beneficial.”
When it comes to Coach Quenneville and his past sexual assault situation with the Chicago Blackhawks, Wyshynski takes a look and says, “You do not sit down the The Commissioner without getting a punishment.”
He says what he sees is that, “Quenneville valued winning in the playoffs more than the value of a player and the law.”
Wyshynski says there is no passing the buck claiming, “The coaches and players have a responsibility that players are safe in the locker room.”
Is Quenneville out in Florida? Wyshynski says not so fast and explains, “I think he gets a sizable suspension then he and The Panthers move on from there.”
The Panthers remain 7-0-0 and we will find out soon if they go forward with their coach.
