“I think we got a very good chance at winning that game and I can’t wait.”
John Michaels, 680 the Fan morning show host in Atlanta, has high hopes for the Miami Hurricanes in their season opener vs the #1 overall team in the country - Alabama.
Michaels joined the Hochman and Crowder show and listed five reasons why UM, currently an 18 point underdog according to Vegas, has a legitimate chance at beating Bama when the two face off in Atlanta on September 4th.
One reason, according to Michaels: “I think Manny Diaz as defensive coordinator looks and goes, Bryce Young has never taken a meaningful snap in college football. Let’s just start sending guys … I don’t care if you have a 5-star freshman, they’re still freshman.”
As for those who would be satisfied with Miami just keeping the game close against the defending national champions and the best program in college football for the last decade, Michaels has a message.
“You don’t hang banners for that. You hang banners for winning championships and that’s what The U is all about.”
