Mascots are ingrained in the fabric of sporting events and are an essential part of any organizations branding. While the mascot may not help teams in the win-loss column, they are still a vital part of a fans experience at the ballpark or stadium.
After a survey ranking the best and worst MLB mascots listed Billy the Marlin (the Marlins mascot) as the third-worst mascot in Major League Baseball, the Hochman and Crowder show debated which South Florida sports mascots were the best.
