Former Dolphins GM Randy Mueller thinks Falcons receiver Calvin Ridley got off easy for gambling on his team saying, “I am surprised it was not longer.”

He warns, “When the integrity of the game is questioned that is an issue and that is where The League steps in and makes you an example.”

When comes to Aaron Rodgers signing a record deal with Green Bay, Mueller is not that surprised saying, “If any team put a package together to get Aaron Rodgers, it would gut the team.”

Mike Gesicki has been franchise tagged by The Dolphins.  Mueller is not super into the move stating, “My philosophy has always been a tight end is a tight end, they are never the focal point of the offense.”

So why did The Dolphins franchise the tight end?  Mueller says, “I think on a one year basis it brings regularity and Tua comfort.”

Finally, does Mueller think Tom Brady is staying retired?  He says, “The only call he will take is from The 49ers.  He grew up there and was a fan of them.”

The salary cap has been released for next season by The NFL and The Dolphins have more room than anyone so it should be a wild off season.
