Trevor Rogers experienced a roller-coaster ride of emotions this week.
The rookie is called into Marlins Manager Don Mattingly's office and told he will be sent down to Triple-A before the All-Star break to "control his innings."
"My mind went completely blank. I was so rattled," said Rogers. This was before Mattingly revealed he wasn't optioning Rogers to Triple-A, but instead sending him to Colorado to represent the Marlins as an MLB All-Star.
"The emotions were all over the place. It went from zero to 100 real quick."
