Today’s NBA slate features eight games, which means there will be a ton of good options to choose from for our player prop bets. There are so many fun matchups tonight, but I’ll go with Pacers-Bucks as the game of the day. Milwaukee is favored by 5.5 points and the total is set to 231.5 points, which means we should see plenty of buckets.
As for today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.
Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.
Justin Holiday OVER 10.5 points
Holiday comes into the game averaging 11.8 points per game (PPG), and that number has gone up to 12.4 over his last ten outings.
He has gone over this mark in three out of his last four games, and in that same span, is averaging 15 PPG.
Tonight he faces off against a strong Milwaukee defense, but we should see a favorable game script with plenty of points scored. Look for Justin to be extra motivated tonight, as he matches up against his brother Jrue, who plays for the Bucks.
Zach LaVine OVER 25.5 points
LaVine is averaging 28.3 PPG and has gone over this number in three out of his last four games.
Utah’s defense has slipped as of late, as they are 22nd in defensive rating over their last 12 games.
This is a tough spot for LaVine, but the Bulls will need to rely heavily on him tonight if they want a shot at winning this game. They should be down towards the end, so a couple of late threes will help.
The total is set to 228, so points are expected. I have him going for at least 28 tonight, so I see some value in this number.
Derrick White OVER 2.5 threes made
Risky bet here, but I like the odds. You can get this number at +145 (shop around).
White is coming off of an 0-8 performance from deep, so we should see some positive regression tonight. Especially against a Charlotte team that is one of the worst in the league at defending the deep ball, as they rank 29th in 3-pointers allowed.
He is attempting a career high 5.5 3s attempted a game. I like the matchup and the price in this spot, so it is worth the sprinkle.
