It appears that even in retirement, Nick Saban will still be heavily involved in the college football scene.
The former Alabama head coach is joining ESPN as an analyst on College GameDay and will also be a part of the network’s NFL Draft and SEC Media Day coverage, according to Adam Schefter.
Saban, 72, will joining Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and others as part of the College Gameday crew
The seven-time national champion head coach, who shocked the football world with his retirement last month, has some prior TV experience doing guest work for ESPN in recent years.
“ESPN and ‘College GameDay’ have played such an important role in the growth of college football, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to join their team,” Saban said in a statement. “I’ll do my best to offer additional insights and perspectives to contribute to ‘College GameDay,’ the ultimate Saturday tradition for college football fans.”
