Despite what's been an underwhelming first couple months in 2021, the Atlanta Braves continue to have as much fun as any team in baseball.
The latest evidence came Friday evening. After every Braves home run - except the ones that he hits - the author of the longball greets Pablo Sandoval at the end of the dugout for a bear hug. Reigning National League MVP Freddie Freeman homered Friday, and got to hug the Kung Fu Panda, who has added a panda mask to the routine:
A former World Series MVP, Sandoval has turned into a tremendous veteran presence for the Braves. In addition to providing emotional support in the dugout, Sandoval has four home runs and 10 RBIs as a pinch-hitter in 2021.
