The Golden State Warriors could be getting Steph Curry back very soon.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, there is “optimism” that Curry could return to the team some time next week on the Warriors’ three-game road trip, which begins on Sunday against the Lakers.

The Warriors will head to Oklahoma City on Tuesday before wrapping up the road trip at Memphis against the Grizzlies.
Curry has not played the last nine games after sustaining a left leg injury on Feb. 4 against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Warriors entered Wednesday 32-20 and in fifth place in an extremely tight Western Conference where just 2.5 games separate Golden State from the 11th-place Portland Trail Blazers, currently the first team out of a playoff spot.
Golden State has managed to remain in the thick of the playoff contenders in Curry’s absence, going 6-4 in their last 10 games and currently in the midst of a three-game winning streak.
The Warriors have struggled mightily on the road, going 7-23 away from home this season.
Curry, a two-time MVP, was averaging 29.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists and one steal per game in 38 games played this season.
