Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Laquon Treadwell joined Dukes & Bell and talked about what happened during his time in Minnesota and why his career got off to a rough start in the NFL.
Treadwell talked about why he struggled in Minnesota.
“I wouldn’t say I wasn’t prepared, it was a lot off the field, a lot on the field, a lot of expectations and my vision got a little blurry, if that makes sense.” Treadwell said “I wasn’t able to do the things that I need to do to get ready for Sundays.”
“We didn’t have an older room, we didn’t a vet in the room that could teach any of us how to be a pro. You know I came in the league at twenty years old and I had to grow up, had to learn a lot, had to be a man and figure things out on my end. When you’re not focused on the field that dictates how you play, and so my performance wasn’t the best, and I tried to make the most of it.”
