Before we even had the chance to fully listen through the freshly released Future and Lil Uzi Vert collab album Pluto x Baby Pluto, Uzi promptly let us know, there was more to come.

The 26-year-old rapper announced he and Hendrix had another full-length collaborative project on the way. And while he didn’t tell us when to expect it, he did share what to expect. "The first one was strictly for the Skreeeetz…The second one is for the BIGGEST SPEAKERS YOU OWN."

What made the announcement even more surprising was Uzi’s earlier (now deleted) tweet alluding to his impending retirement, “I’m dropping 2 more albums then I’m out.” Hmmm… Well we’re going to take the deletion as an official retraction. Plus, this isn’t the first time Uzi’s hinted at throwin’ up the deuces to the rap game.

Back in 2019, Uzi announced he wanted to step away from music for good in an Instagram story, writing, “I’m done with music. I wanna be normal. I wanna wake up in 2013.”

Luckily for us, Uzi didn’t step away, and instead he stepped into the studio with Future. Resulting in the 16-track, DJ Esco executive produced Pluto x Baby Pluto, and as we now know, it’s subsequent follow up.
