Indy 500 Winner is a Man of His Word

On Sunday, May 30th, Helio Castroneves became just the fourth person to win the Indy 500 four times. He joins A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, Sr., and Rick Mears as the only drivers to accomplish that feat. Nonetheless, Helio kept a promise he made to some fans who had a cardboard cut-out of the driver in their front yard. Upon noticing his image during a traditional pre-race visit to season-ticket holders, Helio promised them he'd return for a visit if he won. And sure enough, Monday morning Helio stopped by with the track president in an IMS convertible just to say Hi!

The Terzinis found out earh Monday that he’d be returning, though they didn’t doubt it in the first place. After spending some time gettin to know the new champion, Jameson Terzini called Castroneves the most personable and genuine person in the world.
