Simsbury Pastry Chef Kim Hoàng Wood is competing on the current season of Spring Baking Championship, airing Monday nights at 8PM on Food Network and discovery+. Kim moved forward in this weeks Mardi Gras challenge, securing her place another week in the Farmhouse Kitchen. Kim was born in Vietnam and moved to the US at the age of 3 with her parents and 5 siblings. Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, she was exposed to a variety of people and cultures. She went on to study business but soon discovered her passion for the culinary arts. Now based in Simsbury Connecticut, Kim is the owner of the Connecticut-based French Bakery Le Banh Patisserie! Kim chatted with Allan, Mike and Mary about the competition!
