Susan Linker from Our Companions introduces Allan, Mike and Mary to two beautiful animals looking for families. Let's start with our feline. Cookie has quite the motor on her that can be heard down a long hallway stopping passerby’s and visitors in their tracks to listen to her happy purrs while receiving lots of lap time, scratches and interactive play. Cookies is a 6-7 year old female calico seeking a home where she will be the only pet to hog your lap, have lots of playtime and have infinite snuggle sessions with her human companion(s). If you think sweet Cookie could possibly be what you have been looking for in a feline companion, contact michelle@ourcompanions.org or 860-242-9999 ext. 302

Bandit is a friendly and playful 11-year old, 25 lb terrier mix, who acts as if his best years are yet to come! He has a lot of pep in his step during his daily walks, and likes to chase a ball, play tug-of-war and tear apart a stuffy (where is that squeaker !?!). Like most terriers, he has a lot of personality, and is affable, curious, alert, and loyal. Bandit is also a good communicator: yip (is it dinner time?); bark (is that the mailman?); and yap (is that a bug? I do not like bugs!). He would do best in a single-family home with adults and teens, where his belly can be rubbed and his ears scratched, and at the end of the day, he can curl up next to his favorite person. Bandit has chronic dry eyes which requires twice daily prescription drops, which he tolerates provided a treat is involved. If you are interested in meeting Bandit, you can email helpline@ourcompanions.org or call 860.242.9999.
