Keiko is a beautiful 10 year old female calico looking for a quiet home with someone that has patience and time to allow her to settle in and continue to come out of her shell. She is looking for someone that understands and respects her boundaries and allow her to come around at her pace. Keiko needs to be the only pet in the home as she would like to be the queen of her castle and have all the focus on her. Kona is a compact 40 lbs, 5-year-old typical pittie: energetic (did someone say fetch?), friendly (can I sit on your lap?), affectionate (more kisses!), and sooo smart! She loves her toys and to have her belly rubbed, and can often be found curled up in a blanket napping. Kona knows all the standard commands, but also loves to show off her tricks, including jumping through hoops, navigating a tunnel and (almost) doing a backflip! This is a pup that loves her training sessions! Kona is not a fan of other dogs or cats, and older children would be a good fit. A fenced yard is a requirement, as is pittie experience. Kona is an enthusiastic and loving gal who is eager to please, and would do best in a home that will keep her engaged and continue her instruction so that she can continue to grow and learn.
