Susan Linker from Our Companions stops into the Mike and Mary Morning Show studios with two great pets looking for peeps! Let's meet Palmer! This big senior tuxedo boy is as calm, cool, and collected as they come. He is a wonderful, kind cat with handsome and unique facial markings! Palmer is social and snuggly but does not mind independent time playing with his crinkle ball or some catnip! Trust us when we say Palmer is 14 years YOUNG! He is super joyful, sweet, and playful! Palmer does experience some GI issues and takes daily medications to help, but that never stops him from being his social, happy self! He greets and loves everyone he meets and has obtained the nick-name “King Palmer” with his regal attitude. Palmer will do best as an only pet, and king of his castle. If you’re seeking a gentle, calm senior cat to lounge and cuddle, please contact Our Companions at 860-242-9999 or email Helpline@OurCompanions.org

Zeus

Zeus is a 3 yo border collie/golden retriever mix and is 50 lbs. Spring is finally here and you may be looking forward to those long hikes and outings. Zeus would be your perfect companion! His favorite thing to do/be is being outside and hiking with his best buds. The snow is behind us, but come next winter he will show you just how much he loves snow! The best part of any activity is that he gets to do it with his favorite people. Among his other favorite things are cuddles, squeaky toys, and of course, a rousing game of tug. The most important thing for Zeus is that he gets to do it with his family! He also likes to watch TV with you , especially if there is an animal on screen. What would Zeus like in a new home? A single family home with a fenced yard would be best as he loves his outside time. Children make him nervous so a teen or adult home would also be on his list. While he will cuddle with you, he prefers to sleep in his crate and that is also his go to place just to rest. He is not a fan of loud noises. He presently lives with another dog but he might do best as an only animal in his new home. Should you have another dog, we would always have them meet first to determine if it is a match. At 3 years old, he still has some puppy behaviors and we can help with our positive reinforcement classes.
