The Hartford Symphony Orchestra has decided to postpone the upcoming Masterworks Series concert From the New World scheduled for January 14-16, 2022 due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant and to ensure the health and safety of our audience, orchestra, staff and crew. The rescheduled concert dates will be forthcoming. Ticket holders do not need to take any action at this time. Tickets remain valid for the rescheduled concert date, including subscriptions and single tickets. Patrons unable to attend the new date(s) will have the option to exchange their tickets for another concert, donate their tickets, or request a refund.  www.HartfordSymphony.org

Bowzer’s Rock N Doo Wop Show scheduled for Sunday 3pm at Mohegan Sun Arena has been postponed till February 20, 2022.  Tickets will be honored for the new date.  All other inquiries may be made at  www.mohegansun.com

Events:

“Angry, Raucous and Shamelessly Gorgeous” follows the joyous journey of discovery of four African American women in their 20s, 40s, and 60s who each have a unique perspective on feminism, art, and activism. The Hartford Wolfpack skate Saturday 7:30pm at XL Center in Hartford vs Laval Rocket.  It’s Decades Night with fans receive a free fanny pack, while supplies last.  Tickets $21-$46 Adults and $12-$22 for kids.   www.hartfordwolfpack.com

It’s Open Cockpit Weekend at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks Saturday beginning at 10am. All programs are included with general admission.  Limited Capacity and Covid-19 safety measures are in place.  Please visit www.NEAM.org before you go!

The New England Carousel Museum and Museum of Fire History, 95 Riverside Avenue, Bristol are open to the public.  General admission includes guided tours at noon and 2:00 PM during public hours and one carousel ride per person.
Additional carousel rides are $1 each or $3 for an unlimited ride bracelet.
