Hike a noteworthy trail in any of Connecticut’s 110 state parks and 32 state forests. There is also the Last Green Valley, a national heritage corridor spanning 26 towns in Eastern Connecticut. It’s annual “Spring Outdoors” program featuring walks and other outdoor events, kicks off this Sunday.  The Appalachian Trail, which runs through Kent. It’s one of the few long flat parts of the famous trail and it provides ample opportunities to enjoy natural beauty and spot wildlife.   Or, if outdoor art walks are more your vibe visit The Knowlton in Bridgeport featuring an outdoor mural park with magnificent, photo-worthy creations by Connecticut area artists.

Also, the Wall to Wall Mural Walk in New London, featuring 16 murals, drawings and other large-scale installations throughout the city.
