Maple Syrup fans!  Flanders Nature Center in Woodbury is hosting maple syrup

demonstrations this weekend. During this event, staff and volunteers will demonstrate the process turning sap into syrup with an entertaining mix of science, stories and humor.  www.FlandersNatureCenter.org

You can also enjoy Maple Syrup Sundays at Stamford Museum and Nature Center. The museum will be offering special maple sugar programing including tree taping demos, games, giveaways and more. www.Stamfordmuseum.org

The Elizabeth Park Conservancy opens the 2023 Spring Greenhouse Show on Sunday featuring a spectacular array of spring bulbs and plants. The week-long show culminates in a one-day bulb and plant sale next Saturday, March 11. The Spring Greenhouse Show runs daily through next Friday 10am - 4pm.  The Show is FREE and open to the public. Included in the floral display: French hyacinths, Muscari, tulips, daffodils, amaryllis, scented geraniums, pansies, trellised sweet peas, culinary herbs, hanging baskets, Spanish oregano, Alpine strawberries, Dianthus, and a collection of tropical plants and succulents.

Sunday at 3pm, the Wolfpack skates against the Charlotte Checkers at XL Center.  It's Sonar’s Birthday with a party! Join us as we celebrate our favorite mascot. A few of his besties will also be joining us to celebrate him!  The first 1,500 guests ages 12 and under will receive a youth Wolf Pack jersey. www.wolfpack.com

“And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie, will be presented by White Rabbit Theatre at Cheney Hall, 177 Hartford Road in Manchester Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm, Sunday at 2 pm. Audiences should be aware that seats are general admission, and that viewer discretion is advised due to violence that takes place in the show.
