The University of Connecticut, College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources Department of Animal Science, Storrs, CT is offering Summer Horse Riding Lessons. Dressage, Hunt Seat, Western & Polo will be taught. Beginner to Advanced levels will be offered. Riders must be 11 years old or at the 6th grade level in the fall of 2022. In addition, UConn offers trail riding for Intermediate or Advanced level riders. Riders must be 11 years of age or older and pass a one-time riding test to assess riding ability. The rider may choose English or Western style tack and will ride the UConn trail system and learn best practices of trail riding including how to follow markings. Registration have begun. Lessons will be held in the Horsebarn Hill Arena, UConn, Storrs, CT. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition is a collection of the artist’s renowned ceiling frescoes from the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, reproduced in a format that allows viewers to get face-to-face with the masterpieces.
