Hartford Stage, raises the curtain on its 2021-2022 season with Pulitzer and Nobel Prize-winning playwright Eugene O’Neill’s only full-length comedy, Ah, Wilderness! Will run now through November 7 at the Tony Award-winning theatre in downtown Hartford. O’Neill’s Connecticut-set comedy, Ah, Wilderness!, is a play full of heart and wit that celebrates family and community. Performances are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm; Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm; Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm; with select weekday matinees at 2pm. "Truth Alive!", a celebration of hope, love and healing will be held rain or shine at the Performance Pavilion on the west end of Bushnell Park in downtown Hartford Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm. This free event will feature local praise bands, recorded music by popular Christian artists, inspirational preaching and teaching by local pastors, powerful prayer, answers to life’s most perplexing questions, and remarkable testimonies of local people who have experienced lasting victory over fear, emptiness, loneliness, rejection, abuse, low self-esteem or addiction through God’s amazing love.
