I‑Park’s annual Illuminations Benefit is Saturday 5:30–9pm, marking a milestone year: the organization’s 25th anniversary, celebrated through the shimmering theme “An Evening of Silver.” This once‑a‑year event culminates in a special residency session featuring eight Connecticut‑based artists, each selected for a fully funded residency at I‑Park. Guests are invited to arrive in silver‑inspired attire, meet the artists in their studios, and be among the first to experience the new site‑responsive works illuminated along I‑Park’s trails. The evening also features an experiential silent auction and Mediterranean cuisine from Moodus‑based Thena Pita Bar. Wine is generously provided by Sunset Hill Vineyard. $75 per person.
