This is the house where my mother grew up and where my grandmother lived for nearly 75 years. Recently it was necessary for her to move to an assisted living facility. No one other than her and my grandfather have ever lived here. That all changes today. The house has been sold. A new family will begin to make memories there. If theirs are half as great as the ones I have of this little slice of New Milford, they can consider themselves fortunate.
