Actress and comedian, Kate McKinnon, was every ‘90s kid when she crossed paths with boy band, Hanson, this week.

McKinnon was the ultimate fangirl as she greeted the sibling trio on the set of Today nervously shaking their hands before stepping beside them and sharing what a big fan she’s been her whole life.
“‘Go’ is my favorite song,” she expressed. “It’s such a beautiful [song] — thematically and musically, so beautiful. Harmonies [are] so tight.”
She also took time to acknowledge their style, crediting the brothers for her current hairstyle. “Of course, the style,” she said. “Growing up on Long Island, this is why I have my haircut. I’ve just been copying you guys my whole life.”
The love was mutual as the guys welcomed McKinnon with open arms and even complimented her denim jumpsuit.
Fans will have their own chance to see the guys in person as Hanson is set to kick off their Underneath: Experience Tour, beginning October 3. The trek marks the 20 year anniversary of their third studio album, Underneath and runs through November 11. Find tickets here.
