Jake is a very cute dachshund mix, a bit overweight at 30 lbs, and is 5 years old. Jake would love to find a quiet home where he can soak up all the love and attention! All of his changes have left him a bit nervous so he is hoping for a teen or adult home with people who understand his needs and wants. He does love to sit in his person's lap or even on the back of the couch. He'd prefer to be the only pet in the home so he can get all the attention! He loves having his own bed, does not want to go for too many car rides, would love a big yard (a fence would be nice) instead of going to a dog park. Outside noises cause him to bark- he is working hard on not barking as much but it is a work in progress. A quieter single family home would be best.
