HAMDEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ A beagle with a mass on its shoulder was abandoned Tuesday in Hamden.
Police say a hiker saw a blue pickup truck abandon the dog on the side of Downs Road.
The dog is an older female beagle. She has a 2'' mass on her right shoulder. In addition, she is emaciated and has overgrown nails.
