West Hartford just got a little warmer and even tastier—Coracora has officially opened its doors in Blue Back Square!

More than a year after announcing the expansion, this beloved Peruvian restaurant is now serving up bold flavors in an elevated new space.
Expect a fresh menu that goes big: crispy chicken croquettes with creamy, spicy sauce; fall-apart braised short rib with a savory rice-and-bean cake; and fried yuca bites topped with a cheesy pepper sauce. It’s comfort food with serious swagger.

Coracora also teamed up with renowned Peruvian mixologist Luis Flores to craft cocktails like the Cora Punch, Lúcuma Papa, and Paraíso—drinks as thoughtful as the dishes.

This isn’t just any opening. Coracora was a James Beard Award finalist for Best Restaurant: Northeast, and it consistently earns praise for its creativity, food quality, service, and atmosphere.
Just as important, Coracora is family-owned—so every reservation supports local people who bring irreplaceable charm and vibrancy to West Hartford.
Plus great news for longtime fans: the original Shield Street location isn’t going anywhere.
