Yesterday kicked off National Small Business Week. A week-long holiday that began more than 50 years ago to recognize the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. Here in Connecticut, Small Businesses are an extremely important part of our state’s economy.
And speaking of fall and supporting small businesses, just last week, Connecticut launched a brand-new fall marketing campaign called “Full Color Connecticut” to promote safe travel and fuel the Connecticut tourism industry’s continued economic recovery. The new campaign aims to keep Connecticut top of mind with residents and visitors by reminding them that Connecticut has spectacular fall foliage, plus so many other things to do and experience during fall. It will also drive more revenues to businesses!
