Four arrested in Glastonbury crime spree

GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Glastonbury Police arrest four suspects in connection with a February crime spree in town.

Investigators began work on this case on February 4, 2024, following a burglary at the Shell gas station on Hebron Ave, several vehicle burglaries at residences, a motor vehicle stolen from a residence, and a robbery at gunpoint at the Mobil gas station on Main Street.

During the investigation, police were able to identify four primary suspects.

They're identified as: Kevin Ortiz-Rivera, 21, of Hartford; Frankie Almodovar-Roman, 22, of Hartford; Nelson Colon-Davila, 23, of Hartford; and Rosa Mercedes, 25, of Hartford.

Almodovar-Roman is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, fifth-degree larceny, fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, first-degree robbery, first-degree robbery conspiracy to commit robbery, larceny of a motor vehicle, and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle. Bond is $750,000.

Colon-Davila is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree larceny, fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, and larceny of a motor vehicle. Bond is $750,000.

Ortiz-Rivera is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal possession of a firearm, first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, first-degree threatening, reckless endangerment, fifth-degree larceny, fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth-degree larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle, and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle. Bond is $1,500,000.

Mercedes is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, fifth-degree larceny, fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, larceny of a motor vehicle, and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle. Bond is $750,000.
