Poles is a New York native who played offensive line at Boston College, protecting Matt Ryan. He signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2008, but was back at BC later that year as a recruiting assistant.

Poles joins Cardinals vice president of player personnel Quentin Harris, Arizona vice president of pro personnel Adrian Wilson and Bills assistant general manager Joe Schoen as candidates that have completed interviews with the Giants this week.
