(WWJ) An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drive-by shootings in Macomb County's Chesterfield Township.

Seen smiling in his mugshot, Christian Koussa of Chesterfield is charged with Discharge a Firearm From a Vehicle, which is a felony punishable with up to 10 years imprisonment or a $10,000 fine.

Chesterfield Twp. Police said homes in these subdivisions in the area of Donner Rd and I-94 were "targeted at random" for these shootings earlier this month. In each incident, police said the suspect or suspects fired several small caliber rounds at "unsuspecting homes." Fortunately nobody has been injured.

Police said the suspect vehicle was possible a white/silver SUV and or a white/sliver four-door sedan, caught on a home security camera.

No injuries were reported.

It's unclear at this time what evidence led to Koussa's arrest, and a motive for the crime is unknown.

Koussa was arraigned in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore, ordered held on a $10,000 or 10% bond and lodged in the Macomb County Jail.
