DETROIT (WWJ) - Where is Darius Martez Calhoun?
Detroit police are again reaching out for tips as they continue to search for a man they say fatally stabbed a woman while paramedics were responding to a 9-1-1 call.
Detroit EMS was called to a home in the 80 block of W. Arizona Street -- near McNichols and Woodward Ave./John R on the city's west side -- the night of Sept. 21, about an unresponsive 50-year-old man.
While medics were attempting to revive the man with CPR, police say Calhoun stabbed Romaira Washington, a mother of five children, to death.
Washington and the original subject of the 9-1-1 call were both pronounced dead at the scene. It's unclear at this time how the man died, but police said it was believed to be natural causes.
Calhoun took off following the stabbin, and he's evaded capture ever since.

Calhoun is described as a black male, about 5'10'' tall and 250 lbs. He has a heavy-set build, medium brown complexion, brown eyes and short hair, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with blue jeans.
According to family members, the suspect is Washington's boyfriend's son.
Anyone with information on Calhoun's whereabouts asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260. Calls can also be made anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587). A $1,000 cash reward is available through Crime Stoppers for the tip that leads to Calhoun's arrest.
Meanwhile, Washington's mother has set up a GoFundMe page seeking financial help in giving her daughter a proper burial. Leslie Washington noted that all of her Romaira's children, no without a mom, are under age 18.
