      News Editor/Anchor

NEW: Join 830 News Talk editor and anchor Steve Simpson next May 6 on a journey to London & Paris with Collette, where your only job is to have the time of your life.

The trip includes all the iconic sights including Trafalgar Square, the Tower of London and Big Ben. Explore Churchill’s war rooms, tour regal Westminster Abbey and experience the Parisian culture with a dinner and cabaret show at the Paradis Latin theatre.

With Collette, all of the details -- from flights and hotels to sightseeing -- are taken care of for you. We'll just enjoy the journey.

To learn more about this exciting tour, go here, or meet Steve Simpson at either of these two travel presentation:

Thursday, Nov. 21, at 2 pm and 6 pm

      Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 2pm and 6

Please RSVP for the presentations by calling 612-370-0611.

      Bio:

Steve Simpson was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and attended Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

While still in college, he got his first paying job as a disc jockey and later a talk show host. A job offer from an oldies station landed him in Indianapolis in 1987. Five years later, Simpson was hired as a talk show host and newscaster for WIBC Radio.

Over the following 22 years, he served as the station’s main anchor and had a front row seat for some of the decades’ biggest stories, including 9/11, every election (including Bush v. Gore), the Indiana State Fair stage collapse and dozens of severe weather events, including several tornado outbreaks.

Simpson is no stranger to Minnesota. His sister’s family has lived in Buffalo for the last 10 years, so he’s excited to call Minnesota home. His only regret? That he didn’t get here sooner!

Steve’s an avid follower of politics, which may explain why in his free time he enjoys going to the theatre. He lives in the Loring Park neighborhood, but enjoys spending time in many of the unique neighborhoods of the Twin Cities, exploring all they have to offer.
